layoff factor in GC processing

I need advice/suggestion.

I got laid off from Oracle during 2001. I got my H1 done thru another employer. There is gap for 3 months in between. Will this be a problem
for my GC ?

Since you got your subsequent H1 approval without any problem, this
should not come up during your GC process.

I am in similar situation too. I have close to 2 months gap between employments in 2001. Subsequently got H1B without problem.

Please let me know, are you expecting any problem regarding your GC due to this issue? Are you still doing CP? If yes, when is your interview.

so far as you are not out of status for more than 6 months you should be fine... moreover since you have approval from INS .. there should not be any problem...
