Layoff before 180 day, 140 approved

I was laid off in approx 100+day after date of RD I had filed for concurrent 140&485. I had received an RFE on my 140 and submitted all documents before I was let go.

My employer had cancelled my H1b and the underlying LCA only.

My 140 was approved in 200+days from date of RD. Subsequently my EAD along with AP was also approved. I have renewed my EAD and AP once since the initial approval.

I am currently working on a similar position with a company. Will I have trouble using AC21 portability in this case.

Any inputs will really help

No issues here. Just relax and take it easy. Ours was a similar case, i.e., layoff < 180 days after filing 485. Hope that helps.
 
I'm also simular situation

My Labor Certification cleared on Dec-19-2003 (CSC)
I filed my I140 and 485 concurrent on Jan-28-2004 (CSC)
Recd. my EAD on March-20-2004
Recd. my AP on April - 10-2004
Fingerprint done on - April-19-2004

Currently I'm in 7th year extension.
My current H1 is expires on Sep-22-2004

On June-30 I got layed off from my company
My attorney and HR dept. assure me that they don't withdraw my I140.
(Big Financial Instution 4500 Employees)

Now what are my options ?
Can I use my EAD for next jobs ?
I got three jobs in my hand.
 
Yes you can use EAD. But make sure your previous employer "supports" 140- they must respond if there is an RFE.
