here is a breakdown of my company's lawyer for GC.. any input?
is this expensive?

ETA 750 Application: $3000
I-140 Petition: $500
I-485 Application: $1500

Total: $5000+

This amount will include the miscellaneous expenses such as copying and regular mailing costs but exclude the cost of advertisement for job opportunity, the cost of other recruiting activities, and CIS filing fees. Certified and Express mail charges will be additional. This amount will also include the first employment authorization (EAD card) and travel document for each family member when I-485 is filed. Should additional EDA or Travel Document is needed, Client agrees to additional $100.00 legal fee for each form filed plus necessary filing fees.

Looks like a norm. I am paying similar fee plus $200 for each addtional forms (EAD & AP). Do you know whether the GC expenses are tax deductable ?

fees depend on the lawyer and there is no fixed amount for how much a lawyer can charge. generally hourly rates can be $200 and higher. obviously, experienced lawyers charge more than someone whose Bar membership's ink hasn't been dried yet.

MY GC Expenses, please comment

I am going to start my GC process the expenses as told by me employer as below:
Attorney Expenses for the Entire Process - 3750$
50% need to paid at the time of initiation
25% at the time of filing I140
and then 25% at the time of 485.

plus1200$ cost of advertisement and recruitement campaign

and then all the USCIS fee on actuals.

can you please let me me if this okay as per the market standards?
