Should there be a lawyer all the time during the I485 process right from application to adjudication ????

How come ... I 485 is said to be the GC Seeker's application ... ?
Can I drop my lawyer as I have

I140 Approved,
EAD AP Approved and
I can handle any further EADs or APs in the future,
and can even handle the RFEs ......

What would I need a lawyer for ...... to waste my money ....????
Let me know the exact use of a lawyer ...... after I485 application submission .....
 
I think you need a lawyer if something major screws up on your case.

As far as - can I pick and drop my lawyer in the middle of the process (say if you pay him per month) - everytime you change lawyers, you have to file some form with INS (I forgot the exact number). Do you wanna do it - is your choice.

I take it that you are in the middle of your 485 process, I would advise you keep the lawyer and keep cheerful relations with him, even if you hate him to peices.

Can you please suggest any GOOD lawyer in MI who can handle AC21 and on the whole the GC effeciently ....
 
Sorry I cannot answer your actual question about a lawyer in MI. But curious why you said its urgent. Did you get an RFE ? My ND is a month after you !
