Lawyer fee for H-1 extension

I am going to extend my H-1 for the 6th year. Is anybody know the lawyer fee for this one year H-1 extension? My lawyer asking for $1000. Thanks a lot for your input.
 
$1000 is about normal. More than some, less than others. It's not always a good idea to go with the least expensive attorney that you can find.
