lawyer and general stuff

Hi, guys,

People here talk about using lawyer or not to do stuff like: address change, EAD application, AP, office interview etc.

Do we really need do that through lawyer?

My lawyer is kind of not so updated. When I applied EAD early this year, I asked him to attach info like I-140, 485 (acccording to the suggestions on this board), he just did not do it. Then I got REF.

I wonder whether it hurts if we do it ourselves.

BTW, my lawyer charges me by hour.

I did my EAD, AP renewals on my own, when my attroney asked in excess of 500$ fee. Both the forms are of one page and the instructions to fill the forms and about supporting docuemnts are very clear.

Did you receive the EAD (approved)? Or was it recent?
