Lawiers fees

Hi guys,

This is my first active participation to this forum, though I have been checking it out for quite some time now.
I will start with a question regarding lawiers fees. My I485 was handled by my first company, and I didn't have to worry about the lawier fees. Since then, I have change job and I am now responsible for the costs involved with my I485 processing. My lawier have recently handled my I-765 and I-131 renewal on my behalf without discussing the fees. I thought that they were paid by my first company. Now they send me a bill for $1,205.00, which I find really excessive. Would I have known this, I would have filed by myself!
Does anybody have any idea about the fees usually applied for this kind of work? Can I dispute it? I intend to take care of the rest of my processing by myself. Can I request that my lawier send me the I-485 receipt?

1200 for EAD & AP ? Looks high.

Is it for you alone or for your family also ?

My lawyer Charge 325 + 120 EAD ;275+110 for AP. PLUS same amount for spouse.

My lawyer doesn't charge anything for AP + EAD except INS fees.
Usually people pay ~$200, like, $700 for a family of 3.
