Due to the new security constraints, the New Home Land Security Dept. is going to build a central repository for all depts like FBI, INS, etc... As a computer professional you guys better know how long it will take to migrate, test & put into production.
INS Says they are processing I-485...that's true but we will not see decisions until Jul'2003. Their proposed new project plan is supposed to start live from July'2003 (6 months time frame). This is an info from a Close Source.
Guys, one last thing what we can do is to write a letter to the new home land security Governor Tom Ridge about our Issues and to make the process happen faster. We cannot tolerate this any more.
Letter should cover Our Following Issues :

1. I-485 Delays
2. Why we have to pay twice (redo medical, redo fp) when that's
not happening to everybody?.
3. Those who filed after us, gets approved faster than us. Why is
it so? Why can't INS follow a procedure?
4. Most of them are still working as a SLAVE with their employers
as they are stuck with the employers b'cas of this I-485. INS
says "no bonded labour" but their delay bound to make us a
bonded labour.
5. ATLEAST EAD renewals are also not happening faster.

Anybody volunteering to write a letter?? If so, please write and put it in this forum as an attachment & we all will sign.
