I am being sponsored by my sister who is a US citizen. the file was submitted 2 years ago and recently i checked the status online at bcis site and it says 865 processing days, which should 'expire' this year.
do you know why they put 865 days, because i know from the dept. of state visa number, the processing right now for sister to brother is june 1994 or something. way longer than 865
also, we called CSC recently and asked them if 865 is correct, they said it is actually 51 weeks. so it should be next year.
do you know what they actually mean by 51 weeks?? i'm confused. is it the time when i will get greencard or i have to wait 9 more years (if now they processing 1994 petitions)
