My husband is a US citizen with a PIO card. He has been staying in India for the past 9 months but did not apply for FRRO registration. He has to return to the US for a job but was stopped in the airport due to lack of registration. He is trying to apply for registration again.
Will this cause any problems in returning back to the US?
If not, how much time it might take for FRRO registration processing?
