INS was approving lot of July 2001 cases...(History)
But now BCIS(INS) just started approving November 2001 cases...there are few Aug/Sep 2001 and many Oct 2001 cases still waiting for approval...

What a progress made by INS/BCIS in the last one year ???
 
I was expected to get GC approval in Simmer 2002 at this time of last year. NOW another summer is coming soon and no good news so far….

We all applied for GC at the wrong time...

...Unlucky guys.

BTW, I am going to complete 6 years in Dec. 2003. Hopefully I will get my GC before that.
 
I remember those days...

Everyday we used to think that we are the luckiest of the lot ! We'll get our approval by summer....

and here we are!
 
forget it, it's just an old happening.
u know what..?? one of our senior researchers said he got GC in 4 months (EB1-A) in 1997. Applied in April 97 and got in August 97 ! *4 months* !!! Can you believe it?

well, hopefully this terribly slow pace would also be history soon. I don;t want too much.. just clearing 1 month of backlog per month.. i will very appreciate it..
 
Its just a destiny...........nothing else could explain why we have to suffer!! I really call it a suffering as most of the things are at halt for me....infact I can't even meet my husband who is in India for past 10 months and he cannot get tourist visa to come here.

I am sorry to hear your case and I am sure you've tapped all the options for getting your spouse here.

Have you applied for his I-485 too? If so, why can't he come here on AP? Or you can apply for consular processing for him... Just a thought!
