last chance help!!!

baby is great born 8/12/06 at 7.7 lbs now weighs over 12 lbs....our i485 that was filed years was declined.....we've gotten a new atty and as of this week we are re-filing i485 again because our atty believes he has found a loop hole regarding the affavidit of support.....think positive.....pray 4 us..thanks
 
Hello! Congratulations on a new born!
I wanted to share the success story of one of my Belorussian friends. She did come here on K1 also, actually didn't get married to the guy who brought her here, but she was somehow able to switch to F1, was going to college for few semesters where she met her future husband, they got married, and though it wasn't the easiest case, they did everything themselves without any lawyer succesfully. The interview was a little longer than usual and they were asked a lot of questions but after all she was appoved right on the spot. It's sure not the identical situation, but if you are more concerned about your wife's K1 sponsored by another person part, that is a real example of the fact that at least some immigration officers(at least in sunny North Carolina...that's where the whole case took place) might be willing to overlook this part if they are convinced enough by your love story.
