Hello folks anyone understand how the processing time works?
Here is attached the text I've just copied on the website, unfortunately I don't understand.

"I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status Based on grant of asylum more than 1 year ago 4 Months."

What exactely means 1 year ago and 4 months?

You applying for Green Card and your asylum status was granted 1 year and 4 months ago
 
nooo! he is looking at the processing time link on the USCIS website. the I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status Based on grant of asylum more than 1 year ago 4, is the the category of adjustment of status application. the 4 months is the national average of how long it takes for the service center to review and process an approve ur application since the day they receive it. this does not mean that ur case will be processed for the same amount of time. it might get approved a alot sooner or so much later than that. that is just the national average.
