Does anyone know if your canadian immigration gets cancelled if you don't land and pick up your canadian documents on or before the date that you are supposed to go? My wife and I should be getting our approval any day now for the Candian PR but since our h1/ h4 visa is not stamped and we don't want to risk by going to Canada. Does anyone know if the canadian PR will get cancelled when we will miss our landing date and if so then is it possible to reinstate it at a later time?

If you have I-797 approval notice but the visa is not stamped then you should go back to your native country, get the H1/H4 samped first and then come back to US, from here you can them land in Canada, all before your immigrant visa expires.
If you do not have that much time then you can land in Canada first but you will not be able to return to US, so you can go to our native country from Canada, get H1/H4 stamped and come back to US.
