In my application I mentioned Toronto to be the destination, but now i decided to go to Vancouver,BC. So is it ok if I land through the US border close to Seattle??? As far as I know it is allright if I land to any place other than Quebec, I just want to make sure.

Thanks,
Shamim

You can land at Vancouver and you need not to stay in Toronto as posted by “canus_immi “ he always try to post what ever he/she thinks and confuses others. “ Canus_immi would you please give us any link to CIC or Canada law that if you filled up in your form the destination as Toronto you can not land at other place in Canada?

Many fill up the destination Toronto and land at border posts like Peace Bridge or Rainbow Bridge, Seattle border or Windsor, what is your answer to that? And they never stay in Toronto and go back to US after completing landing.

You cannot land only in Quebec, rest of Canada you can land anywhere.

You earlier also posed that if H1b is revoked by past employer then H1b visa sticker in passport is also revoked, that was also WRONG , “ Naman” gave you a good reply in other thread.

Please post what you are sure and give the link and don’t confuse others.
shamim, you can land at Vancouver and can stay in Vancouver.

When I filed my PR application, I stated Vancouver as my destination. My landing paper (IMM 1000) said Vancouver, BC. My POE was Niagara Falls (Queenston Bridge). The Canadian Immigration officer, crossed out Vancouver, BC, and put Niagara Falls. I have also applied and received my PR card.

To make it short, you can land anywhere in Canada except for QUBEC as ginnu had mentioned.

Hi canus_immi, ginnu, dimple2001, vault,
