Landing Canada (vancouver) for immigration and visa stamping

Guys,
I am on h1 for 5+years. My H1 on passport is expired in Feb 2004. I have got my Canadian immigration approval, and visa to enter for accepting it.(Valid till Jan 2005) I have a new H1B/I-94 valid till May 2005.

I am planning visit Canada in Sept and a visit to India sometime in OCT. Is it safe to do Visa revalidation in Canada(Vancouver) once I get my landing papers in Canada? or I shud I wait and do it in India.

Another question - In case I plan to do visa revalidation in India, Is it safe to Come back to US from Canada, after doing the paperwork for accepting Canadian immigartion, on the basis of valid I-94 (Automatic Revalidation).

i had friend 3 years back went to canada for H1 stamping. he was kicked out so better be carefull since you can enter in this country having valid visa stamped on passport only. so for example if you have filed extention for visa and you are allready here on new I94 and if canada (us consulate) send you back you have only option to go to INDIA. you can't enter in USA haveing approval letter of extention. any qestion jit_oracle_dba@hotmail.com
