Hi, I have a valid H1B visa stamp on my passport which does not expire till 2008. I plan on traveling to Mexico (land crossing) for a brief 3 day vacation. I will not be traveling more than 200 miles from the border in to Mexico. Do I need to surrender my I-94 when I make the crossing? Also, do I need a mexican visa? I have traveled numerous times on my H1B - but only air travel hence am not familiar with land crossing formalities. Would greatly appreciate if anyone with such experience can advise. Thanks in advance.
