laidoff after I-485 filing

I just got laid off, and my I-485 has only been pending for one month. In the reference sheet for laidoff employee who is on H1B visa, the company states that:
"If your adjustment application(I-485) has been filed, but has not been pending for 180 days, you may continue the adjustment process with a new employer if the new employer simultaneously files a new RIR and immigrant visa petition on your behalf prior to the djustment application being adjudicated."
This one really confuses me, what\'s that "simultaneously filing new RIR and I-140" about? Does that mean the company will revoke my
I-140?

RD/ND: 02/2002 (don\'t know exact date, told by company lawyer
                  no receipt received)
EAD received: 3/22/02

your sponsoring employer is trying to scare you.

They cannot make new INS laws. As long as your case remains adjudicated for 180 days you can find another employer (no need to do RIR etc. with the new employer) and continue your GC with the current LC and I140.

Thanks

I know this extra filings with new employer unheard of, but does that mean my previous company is gonna revoke my I-140, and i have to start all over again with the new employer if i can find any?
