Laid-off while on H1

I got laid-off in May 2001 while on H1-B and my employer put me on \'leave of absence\'.
My I-94 will be expiring in Oct 2002.

In this case, Do you think I will have any problem while filing for a new H1-B?

Does anybody know similar case or experiencing similar scenario?

I don\'t think you can do that. Once you convert to H4, you are officially off your H1 status. When you join a new company, you will have to get a new H1. Good Luck !
 
what the hell r u talking wadawada? H4?? where you get it? question was different. get some knowledg

 
 
True Habib but you could be a lot nicer about it

It looks to me as in YadaYada was resoponding to a different post and posted here by mistake. His posting demonstrates a minor error, while yours reflects a lack of respect and common courtesy.

YadaYada is at least trying to help. What are you trying to do?
