A complicated situation.
Currently on OPT - expires mid july 2009.
Company applied for H1 in april 2009, have not got any confirmation from USCIS till date.
Got laid off couple days ago while h1 application is pending.
what are my options?
If i find a new employer, can i have my h1 transfered (if granted) by the new employer? or apply for opt extension?
if USCIS has 2 application one for H1 and one for OPT extension, which one will be approved?
