Laid-off last week, question about Unemployment Benefit...Jim Mills or Gurus, please answer

Hi

I got my passport stamped(I-551) a month ago and waiting for the plastic card. I got laid-off last week. If I file a cliam for unemployment insurance, will that create a problem in getting the plastic card or a future naturalization process?

you might want to check with your as to what is defined as permanence for job when a company files for your GC.
