Unemployment benefits.
Here are the pre requisites on being eligible for unemployment.
Forget about the unemployment benefit on an EAD.
1. No unemployment benefits on EAD.
2. Must pocess a green card.
3. Must have worked for at least 14 weeks before being eligible for unemployment after you get your green card.

You can even take the benefit\'s on your H1/EAD, if your earlier employer has paid money for that.
I would suggest dont go for it, Your GC may come in trouble.......

I saw one similar message from a person with id \'power(some number)\'
with similar message. His wife used to collect unemp benefits on EAD.
When they applied for EAD renewal INS simply rejected it. I don\'t know how it will affect over all GC process, but if I were in your shoes, I won\'t go for unemp benefits.
