laid off after responding to RFE

Hi all,

A friend of mine got laid off very recently from his company. BCIS received his RFE response about three months back, and he was simply waiting for the approval. What kind of trouble can he get into now? What can he be doing to avoid any trouble from BCIS other than looking for a job vigorously?

Your advice will be very much appreciated.

No problem

I don't think he needs to worry unless INS issues another RFE for employment verification.

Shouldn't be any problems, he should keep actively searching for another jobs for unexpected 2nd RFE's for employment, but other than that nothing that he should do.

the only thing I can think of is that our original approval notice actually were sent to my employer, not my lawyer or us. very strange. but that was what happened. We do receive a copy, but don't know whether they take copy for stamping
