Congratualtions......but Try to get a job ASAP. The reason is when you try to renew or apply for Citizenship, this Gap in employment during approval period can cause severe Heartburn
 
Did you got any confirmation on cancellation of H1?

Just like that your employer/lawyer informed to you or you got any notice from INS about H1 cancellation? Can you pl. explain little more on this?
 
gc WAS BASED ON eMPLOYMENT

AT THE TIME OF APPROVAL YOU UNFORTUNATELY DIDN\'T HAVE A GC. It "might" be treated as obtaining GC fraudulently. AT THE TIME OF CITIZENSHIP, U MAY NEED TO REPRESENT YOUR CASE REALLY NICELY. Check this website for more information

They did send my H1 cancellation to INS. I did not receive anything about H1 cacellation from INS.

Did you done this (new H1) as a precautionary measures for all these days to support yourself for RFE or any other?
