Hi ,
i was told that we dont get any filing no for labour , is it true, if yes then how do we check it .
 
My labour filed too

My labour was filed from Nebraska SESA on 11/15 and got transferred to Chicago DOL on 11/23 (My Lawyer mailed me )

Is it possible for SESA to be done in just 7-8 days???

When should I expect DOL clearance??

Any words from the Gurus....
 
That will be a news for me for get SESA done in 5-6 days(considering takes 2 days for mail to reach from SESA to DOL.)

If it is true - enjoy man.

The way it is unpredictable to find how long SESA takes - similarly it is not generic to predict DOL dates either. However if your case is of limited review - you should get it done by Jan end or Feb start.

I too was stunned when I got my lawyer's mail. This mail was addressed to a group. So I called my lawyer and asked if MY case had also been forwarded to SESA since it was only a week. The lawyer confirmed it .... Just dont know how true it is....
 
I am sure everyone would like to be stunned like that. Atleast I would love it for my GC.

Wow- That does seem like Utopia land! Wish it were true in all states/centers !

I remember when I filed for labor in Pittsuburgh in '99, the application got processed by SESA in a few days. It got forwarded to DOL even before I got the receipt of acknowledgement from SESA :) Of course, as luck would have it, I had to change companies later, and restart the green card process.... sigh!
