LABOR SUBSTITUTION BANNED- finally

Cash Cow

Some charged $120,000 ... wonder who paid that much.

Sub Labor is/was a real money making machine ... and everyone who were gaining thru it are/will be fighting to keep it in place.

It is not clear whether DOL has the legal authority to eliminate substitutions at the USCIS, and DOL’s previous attempts to eliminate labor certification substitution have been stopped by court order in response to litigation.

One attorney filed approximately 2,700 fraudulent applications with DOL for fees of up to $20,000 per application

Labor certifications were being sold for as much as $120,000.00

Please forgive me for asking a dumb question. I have approved LC and my I-140 is approved too. If I leave my current employer after July 16th, would he be able to use my LC for someone else. My understanding is "NO".

Can someone please confirm ?

Thanks in anticipation.

You are right, he can't use the labor anymore.

Nadi,

Did you say 120K. If any one really paid that for sub-labor, I feel that person is really dangerous because who would want to pay this much and to achieve what?

Even I am wondering .. why pay so much .. If someone keeps the same amount in the form of CD .. without any headaches one can earn $6200 per year.. easy money.
