generally, so far, as per the many posts in this forum and even in my own case PD is original labor filed date and not 140 date.krips99 said:Does any one know what is the priority date for labor substitution?
Is it the date when this substitute labor was filed or when the I-140 was filed?

Also,in recent murthy chat --it was mentoned the PD of Sub.LC is same as orginal LC.(You may search recent murthy chat).
Only upon approval of 140 or/and 485,you will be able to see the priority dates what CIS has allocated.(on 140 and 485 approval notices it will be mentioned. )max2k1 said:Participant
Can you please tell me how you found out your PD ?
Mine is labor sub case as well -- my 485 receipt does not have anything filled out in the PD field.
Let me know where you got your PD info from.
thanks !
No progress of your 485 doesn't mean you are affected by retrogression.krips99 said:Though my priority date on my I-140 approval notice says Feb 2000, I doubt if NSC is processing my I-485. They issued a RFE on Dec 28th, 2004. RFE recieved on 20th Jan, 2005. The the LUD changed contantly till Jan 27th. And after that no progress at all. So I was wondering if I am affected by retrogression.
