My labor details is as follows:

RIR/EB3
SENT BY LAWYER : 07/24/03
Received Letter from IL Dept of Employment Security on 11/04/03 stating PRIORITY DATE : 07/30/03

I am not sure what it means! I am not sure of the abbreviations you all use like SESA, DOL, RD, PD etc

Could anyone tell me is my state labor approved ??

Appreciate any feedbacks.

Thanks,
Raju

It means your LC was accepted by IL SESA with a priority date of 07/30/03.

SESA is state board for LC i.e. first stage for Labor Certification.
DOL is second (regional) stage.

Priority Date (PD) is the date which is considered as start date for your LC.

No this mail does not implies anything like that. It just tells your PD that is all.

IL Labor Approval

Hi Raju,
Just curious to find out if your labor has been approved yet? I have heard that it generally takes about 3-4 months in IL.
Appreciate any info.
Thanks,

Hi idli1829,

I dont have complete answers. My lawyer told me that my state is approved and now its at the 2nd stage of Labor Certification.

I gave papers to lawyer on July 24 '03. My lawyer received letter from IL Dept of Employment Security on 11/04/03 stating PRIORITY DATE : 07/30/03.

My lawyer is telling my 2nd stage should be cleared any time now as they are processing Chicago regional (2nd stage) for priority dates of Aug/Sep.

Hope it helps !

Thanks,
Raju
