Labor Certification under PERM

Hello There!

I need some help in understanding issues related to PERM. My lawyer says that all the applications are being denied and she is recomending AILA president to sue DOL.

Has anyone heard anything like this? Has anyone or anyone you know actually got LC approval through PERM?

Any information on this will be helpful. I am really anxious to hear back!!

Read the threads on the page more carefully - the first approvals have come through already (also see www.shusterman.com - news ticker).
Some of the denials apparently were DOL computer system errors - others clearly errors by lawyers (not counting 30+30 days right).
There should be a new memo forthcoming in June that despribes more what the reasons for denials were.

By the way, lawyers don't know everything. Last week a lawyer wanted to advise me on AC-21 (wrongly I must say) because he wasn't aware of the Yates memo of 5/12/05 yet.....
