Good for you guys.
This proves again the inconsistency of USCIS.
I guess I have to wait for my turn of lady luck.

Stampled Today. Question on Card Tracking

Just got my passport stamped this morning at LA District Office. Went there by 5:30 am and got in for my appointment by 6:25 am. Assigned a number and got called within 5 minutes. She asked for CA DL, passport, I-94, EAD, but not for AP or any other question. Index finger print taken, signed in the box, told to take a seat, called back in 5 minutes and given my passport back. Everything was finished by 6:48 a.m. My impression is that there is no need to arrive too early. 30 minutes ahead of time is about right. (Of course, considering unpredictable LA traffic, you might want give yourself some time in addtion to the 30 minutes)

Since I gave her the officical copy of the I-485 approval form, she used the address of my lawyer's office for processing, and I agreed, since I might move in the next few month and my lawyer can do a better job of getting the card to me.

One question: I don't know how to track my plastic card progress. Should I use my 485 case number, or am I going to get a a new receipt for the form that I signed today? Please clarify that if you happened to know.

Thanks and good luck to all!
