Got our plastic cards, thanks for everyone in this forum who helped us to get through this tough 3 yrs. I will be signing off from here.
 
Titan: Yes I got my card yesssssterday too an what it is more surprisingly my expiration dates are the same as yours!

Now I'm off to the citizenship thread.

Received plastic card

Hi everyone,

I just received the plastic card on 08/30/04!
Approval: 07/13/04
Stamp: 07/28/04

I did the stamping at LA, and they mailed my card on 08/27/04, so it took less than 1 month from stamping.

I just got stamped in LA, It took about 45 min. They didnt even ask me to confirm my address. The approval notice was sent directly to my lawyer, but I hope that they send the card to me...

This board has been quiet for the last week or so. Has anyone received new msg and/or card lately?

If 14 days have passed and you have not received this card, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Haven't received a welcome letter so far though :)

Congrats. Dont count on receiving the welcome notice after this.
Forget about all that, as you are a permanent resident with a card in hand and that makes the difference :) .

Morons screwed up date of birth of my daughter by 8 days. Have to give it back to them for correction ...they never seem to let me go from there hands. $%^^$$%%^^

I just finished my stamping at LA. It took 45 minutes to complete the whole process. Actually we reached early at INS but stood up in different queue. As my appointment was in 6th floor, I have to change the queue which took 20 minutes to get inside. Once inside, they called me immediately and had my stamping at one of the counter.

The INS guys did not even verified my address or asked for confirmation. Since I gave my lawyer copy to him, I am assuming that the card will be sent to the lawyer which will be good since I moved out of LA. Any one exprienced the same situation.
