My husbands L1 is under process and hopefully we will be moving to US in couple of months. I am a software engineer by profession and would like to search for a job once I am there. In this regard, wanted your help in claryfing a few questions as below.

1. How long does it take to get a work permit- What has been the fastest you have ever known?
2. In addition to I-94 , I 765 , marriage proof , marriage photos etc, what else is required as documentation?
3. Is it possible to convert L2 into L1. Under what conditions can this be done? how long will it take.
