L2 & L1B Visa Query

Hi:

To give a brief background, I currently have my L2 visa since my husband has his L1-A. I am still in India,my current employer are trying to re-locate me to USA for which they are planning to file L1-B category;

I have a couple of questions here:

1) If I do go for my L1B stamping, will my L2 visa get cancelled? If so, In-case my L1B is rejected as well, I will then need to re-apply for my L2 is it?

2) If i do go to US on L1 B, with a valid L2 as well, is it possible to apply for an EAD (for L2) while i work on L1 B with my currenT employer?

3) If my spouse applies for a Green card and that point I am on L1B, will my employer need to file for my Green card separately?

Thanks!

A1: Your L-2 visa may not be cancelled at all. If the consul wants to cancel it, it will probably be when he/she is about to issue you an L-1B visa.

A2: No, because your status will be L-1B not L-2

A3: No
