I had applied for my EAD in Apr2005 and received my receipt no. and even couple of mails sayin its approved until the month of May but never really got the doc in my hands ...all my calls to them prooved futile except for once when i was told that its shows approved in there systems and shud wait for there doc by post,which never came atleast until Aug2005............and then we had to leave the place i.e,Texas frm where i had applied for the EAD and now am in Chicago... i need an EAD now ,Shud i reapply or consider the same receipt no. and get back to te USCIS officials ??...I jus want to knw what happenned to my application earlier ..atleast does it effect in speeding up the processing now if i contact them also considering the change of location or Do i Just reapply???
