L2 EAD validity if L1 petition changes

Hi,
My husband is on Blanket-L1 and I am on L2 and had EAD. Now we are planning to go on vacation to India. L1 petition needs to be changed/updated (because petition is older than 6 months) and get re-stamped during visit to India.

Once we come back here, Can I use my older EAD (it is valid till Jun 2007) to work or do I need to apply for new EAD?

I had the same doubt(same situation)...I got my EAD in March 2005,didn't get a job till Aug 2005 ...I went to India for 3 weeks...We got our Visa stamped in India...After coming back i called (homeland security 1-800 no)...and checked abt my status...they said, i can work till my EAD expires( ie, if i'm still in L2 Visa)...i started working from Nov...So, call them n check with them...
