L2 EAD and AOS

I am in L1-A Visa. My wife is in L2, got EAD based on my L1.

Now I have applied for I-140/I-485/EAD/AP concurrently. I have applied for EAD only for me as my wife already got EAD.

My question is, In future If I use my EAD I would be no longer in L status, in that case can my wife use the EAD obtained based on my L1 or should I apply EAD again based on her pending adjustment of status

Why file again? She allready has EAD as mentioned by you.

If you use EAD you lose L or H status.

I am little concerned as the EAD she got derived based on my L status, would that be valid when I myself nolonger in L status

Yes. Both of ur status would be AOS untill approval .

You need not apply for new EAD, for renewing EAD you can use qualifying criteria as AOS application pending.

An L-2 alien will not lose L-2 status by using an EAD, since that is not a violation of their L-2 status.
