L1B visa to L1A or H4 visa.

Hi.

I am currently in the US on a H1 visa and my wife is on a L1B visa. She will complete her 5 year limit in October. After that can she get her visa status adjusted to L1A or H4? I was told that the adjustment of status from L1B to L1A needs to be done 6 months prior to the end of the 5 year limit. Is this true for H4 visa also? :confused:

Need help L1B to H4

Need to know the following.
1. Am currently on L1B in US working for a company and want to resign and stay on with my husband who is on H1-B, can I apply for an H4 ?
2. If yes, how do I do that ?
3. Do I have to go back to India for that ?
