L1B to H1B conversion

Hi,

Currently I'm working in L1B visa. I would like to apply for a H1B visa. My question is:

1) If my petition for H1-B is approved, will the L1B visa get cancelled automatically?

2) Even after getting the approval of my H1B petition, Can I contintue work for my current employer with L1B visa?

3) what will be visa status, L1B or H1B?

Hi All,

Can someone give me your thoughts on this situation.

I am currently employed with company-X for 4.5 years, as I was looking to change my job for GC reasons, I got a offer with company-Y, they did my H1B in premium processing and I did get the approval, but I haven't yet started working for them . Now I have another offer from company-Z, which I am interested in.

So, when company-Z has to file for my H1B, should they be using my current employer i.e company-X's H1 or will they need company-Y's H1B as well.

Hope someone answers this question.
