L1B to green card questions

Hi,

My L1B Visa expires (5 years tenure) on 6th Sept 2007. I've applied for H1 year 2007. I've not picked by lottery system.
If My currrent company files my green card right now.

My questions are :

1) How long i'm elgible to stay in US if my green card applied ?
2) After applying green card if my Labour get cleared and current L1 visa getting expired can I stay in US ? Does it impact Green card processing

If you are able to get EAD after labour is approved. you will be able to stay on... else you would have to outside of US.
