L1B (expired) then L1A (approved not stamped) to I-485 - help

Hi all,

I'm a UK Citizen who came over on a L1B. I stayed the 5 years and recently extended to an L1A which has been approved but I have not yet gone to the Embassy to get the Visa. I'm just about to submit a GC app and the I-485.

Am I going to run in to any problems not having got the visa? Obviously my previous visa has expired, but I am still 'legal' (in process?).
It's just I'm filling in the form and I where I'm entering in my I-94 etc it looks like I have overstayed.

Any advice would be much appreciated. It would suck if I had to go back to the UK just to get the visa in order to submit the greencard app.

Look at the bottom of the L1A approval notice. You should see another I-94. If not, it's still not a problem. Just include a copy of the L1A notice plus the original I-94, they'll know you're still legal.
