L1A Visa Extension

Hi, i applied for my 1st L1A Visa extension on Nov 13th 2009. Since then its in the Initial Review stage. On April 1st, there were couple of people who came to our office for some inspection and interviews and till date there has been no response or change in the status of proceesing my extension. This 13th it will be 8 months and i am not sure if they take so long for an extension where all the paper work is correct. moreover, i went through a lawyer and still this is the situation. Today i have also paid an additonal 1K and upgraded to a permium processing. But i am now worried, if this will have any impact on the case. Just to add on, my visa expired in Feb and to my knowledge the 194 is also valid till then as well. Correct me if i am wrong. Also, incase i get an approval and stay here further, can i start processing a L2 visa for my fiance... How are the L2 processing going on. Once i get my renewal, i plan to start my GC processing as well. I would appreicate if someone can share their experience on a similar situation
 
What agency where these people representing? They visited you on the 1st of April?

I agree with, i want to share that experience but can you tell me some answers
What is the processing time for L-1 visa?
Can I extend my stay on L-1 visa?
Who can qualify as L-1 Executive?
 
I applied uder premium processing extension for L1 Visa. USCIS has sent me a RFE, please let me know why this is sent usually and even if the answers are given correctly then can they reject the application? Do we have options of appeal.?
