L1A to F1 trabsfer in the seventh year of L1A

Hi,

I have been working in us for the past six years on L1A visa. My visa is valid till April 2007. After that I cannot stay in us on the work visa as I will be completing seven years of stay on the L1A visa. My company has not applied for green card for me. So, now I am planning for going to F1 visa and do my MS. Now, my questions is:
1) Can I apply for a change of status from L1A to F1 visa now.

2) Once I complete my MS on F1 visa after 2 years, will I be able to apply for H1B again from US itself without going back to India. My problem is due to personal reason, I have to stay in US. So, once I complete F1, can I apply for H1B and start working on that H1B without going outside US for one year??

Same issue here; with a small difference that i have elapsed my 4 years on L1 B and want to start with school after an year so i would have completed 5 years when i would start on with my F1.
Is there a way we can talk ?
