L1 with spouse on L2, but want H1!

Hi all

I am currently on L1 and my spouse on L2+EAD and just started working.
If I find a new employer who will sponsor with H1, what happens to my wife's status? What would you recommend in this situation?

The only thing I can think of is for my wife's employer to petition for her an H1as well.

Are there any other options?

Your thinking is right. She will loose L2 status if you are on H1. She will have to change to H4

But that way, H4 means she cannot work right?

So for both of us to work the only way is to be independently sponsored??!
