I am applying for my L1 visa renewal in new delhi,India as well as applying for the L2 visa of my spouse for the first time.
The problem is that i got an interview time 1 hour after my spouse interview time, and it was suggested to me that either we should apply at the same time or that she should apply after me.
I am now considering cancelling my appointment and re-applying for 1 day before my current appointment (the website says that i can cancel a maximum of 2 time) .
However before doing that i wanted to get some advice if there will be any problems with the current state(spouse applying for L2 visa before me ) vs me cancelling and getting an appointment for 1 earlier date?
I couldn't apply as a group from the VFS website , since my status is "Indian citizen living in USA" while my spouse is "Indian citizen living in India" and the website mandates that all parties in a family/group have the same status.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
