L1 Visa Issue

hi,

I'm presently into L1-B visa category and staying in US with my valid I-94, even though my visa is already expired.

I need the following clarifications on L1-B Visa category:
1) I just want to know whether is there any risk involved if I go for a visa stamping at the US Consulate in Canada?

2) If my new visa application gets rejected at Canada, will I be able to re-enter US using my valid I-94 card?

Can anyone help me in this.

Unfortunately, they changed regulation sometime back. If visa stamp was denied in Canada/Mexico, you are not eligible to automatic revalidation and you need to go to your home country(or other country if you take risks) and get visa stamp.
