L1 Visa - Is this possible

I worked in HR Department of a Software company in India from December 2000 to May 2003. I left them in May 2003 and worked for another company in India for a brief period before relocating to USA on H4 Visa.

Now the first company that I worked which has got its office in USA is intrested in employing me here. Is it possible for them to file L1 Visa for me and convert me from H4 to L1 ? If so would I need to go back and work with them for 6 months agian before they can process the visa for me or can they use my previous experience? :confused: :confused:

In theory, you seems barely missed qualification of L1.
To get L1, you should be an employee of foreign entity of L1 sponsor
company "at least 1 continuous year last 3 years". Since you left the company in May 2003, you missed it by 3months.
