L1 Visa for Canadian citizens are exempted from Trump recent Ban

Hi Team,

is it true that Canadian citizens are exempted from Trump recent Ban for L1/H1B .

if that is true - i am Canadian citizen (Indian born) can my company will apply L1B ( inter company transfer from Canada to USA)
 
It has been reported in many news reports and immigration sites that Canadian citizens are exempt from the ban, since they don't need US visas, though I haven't found any official sources on this.
