L1 visa during processing

Hello,

I am a selected for DV2008 (case 14xxx) and my current employer proposes me a L1 visa to move to the US this october.

Can we do this or shall we wait for my GC ?

what region?

your interview may be next year, so go ahead with L1 (as long as the employer gives you enough vacation to come back for the CP interview). THat's if you want to do CP. If you want to do AOS (if you are in EU region, I wouldn't - the number is a bit high), then you will do just that inside the US.
 
sorry I forgot to mention my region, I'm EU14xxx and to tell I have already sent my forms.


I would be really happy to move earlier. I've heard that I can't go for an immigrant process and a non immigrant process.
