L1 visa, can work in US be part time?

My company is having a office in the US and I am to be transferred next year. However I would like to work only part time in the US and to do a masters degree. My company is happy with this, but is this compatible with the L1 visa?

It's between you and the company if they are OK with it and you can get accepted by a school that will take you in on L-1 visa then so be it.

L-2 status holders are allowed to attend school. I do not think L-1As or L-1Bs are allowed that leverage. I may be wrong.
