L1 to H1 with COS - URGENT

Hi, I have a query regarding change of status. I am currently working for employer A in L1B status. Employer B has filed a petition for a new H1B with change of status.
1. When the H1B is approved, will my status automatically change from L1B to H1B?
2. Can I choose to not take up the employment with the new employer B?
3. In such case, what should I do to retain my L1B status with employer A to continue working for employer A?

1. H1 status kicks in as soon as it reaches H1 start date printed on I-94.
2. Wouldn't recommend. Change back the status to L1.
